Through Primestone, he cultivates next-generation technology and skilled management to solve business challenges for financial services clients. Previously he was CEO of Promontory MortgagePath (PMP), a fintech provider and an outsourced loan processing and trading company. Earlier, he was the CEO of FirstKey Mortgage, a national lender and portfolio company of Cerberus Capital Management. Before joining FirstKey, Bruce was the Chief Operating Officer of Freddie Mac (post conservatorship) responsible for all operations and technology groups, and the Single-Family and Multi-Family business lines. Bruce has also held global and national executive leadership roles at both Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers. Bruce began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston and Household Finance. David Essex Chief Operating Officer Dave has more than 30 years of finance and operations experience, ranging from fintech start-ups to global financial services organizations. He has built and run corporate, finance and risk functions for multiple organizations. As one of the founding partners of Primestone, he specializes in business assessment and advises on scalable growth, acquisition integration and financing strategies with a heavy focus in the financial services and mortgage-related fields. Previously, Dave was CAO/CFO at Promontory MortgagePath (PMP), a fintech provider and an outsourced loan processing and trading company. Prior to PMP, he held senior financial positions at FirstKey Holdings (a Cerberus portfolio company), Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers. Dave began his career at Ernst & Young. Kenneth Flornes Chief Development Officer Kenneth has more than 20 years of senior-level experience in the real estate and hospitality space at firms such as Oakwood and Silverstein Properties. At Primestone, he is responsible for creating the customer experience that the firm delivers to corporate housing clients and their guests, and developer/owner relations for its furnished apartment business. Kenneth’s market knowledge and operational expertise have made him one of the most respected voices in the industry. His expertise spans corporate housing, travel, relocation and hospitality. He is involved in a number of local and international organizations, including ERC, CHPA, NJRC, and NYCORP. Kenneth stays close to his Norwegian heritage through his participation in the American-Scandinavian Foundation, Innovation Norway, and the Scandinavian Chamber of Commerce. Mike Hekking Chief Operating Officer Mike began his career working in progressive management positions for a Fortune 500 travel company, culminating in Mike leading and managing a Top 10 revenue producing location with over 300 employees. After 5 years in the travel industry, Mike began his 25 year career within the global mobility, relocation and corporate housing industry, working for Cartus, Citibank and SIRVA. During his 25 years within the global mobility, relocation and corporate housing industry, Mike has held leadership responsibilities that span global account management, operations, corporate housing, real estate and corporate client implementations. Mike’s leadership and expertise has been instrumental in ensuring operational excellence, increasing customer loyalty and realizing business success through effective P&L management. Mike has spent time living through out the US and has also lived in the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and Morocco. This experience provides a unique perspective in understanding many of the challenges relocating employees and business travelers face. Mike is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations with an emphasis in Economics and French Language from Brigham Young University. Dayna Castano Chief Marketing Officer Dayna has more than 15 years of executive leadership experience in the corporate real estate and hospitality industries with a focus on the marketing and sales side of the business. She has strategically built, launched, and spearheaded the growth, positioning, and identity of several notable and award-winning brands in the independent hotel, extended-stay, and senior living space. Her strong business acumen has yielded exponential revenue growth, optimized market position, and created clear differentiators in highly competitive markets. As Corporate Director of Marketing for Quadrum Global, she created international awareness and visibility for both Arlo Hotels and Amavida senior living facilities. Dayna’s broad scope and fund of knowledge encompasses digital marketing, public relations, programming, partnerships, social media, sustainability, and outreach strategies. Dayna ‘s extensive sales experience includes roles at Oakwood, HHM and Highgate, where she successfully launched and strategically positioned Row NYC, the management company’s largest asset and New York City's largest independent hotel. Marel Nunziato Senior Vice President Marel has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate and hospitality industries. As General Manager of the Primestone Furnished Program, Marel is responsible for overseeing the group and leading day-to-day activities. Throughout her career, Marel has led award-winning sales and operations teams at firms such as Oakwood and Silverstein Properties. Marel is also a licensed New York State Real Estate agent and is a certified member of multiple national and local real estate organizations, including NAR, NYSAR, and LIBOR. Dawn Lewis Vice President - Global Sales Dawn is a seasoned industry executive with more than 25 years of experience in both the multi-family housing and corporate housing industries. In role at Primestone, Dawn is responsible for global sales and business development for both Primestone’s Corporate Housing and Furnished Programs. She joins Primestone from Gables Residential, a real estate company and privately-held REIT specializing in the development, construction, ownership, acquisition, financing and management of multifamily and mixed-use communities. Throughout her tenure with Gables, Dawn has held a series of senior-level sales roles including Director of Sales and Senior Regional Manager. At Gables, she led the corporate housing efforts of major Fortune 500 corporations. Dawn is actively involved in the National Apartment Association, Corporate Housing Providers Association, Worldwide Employee Relocation Council and several other local and national associations. Peter Marino Senior Account Executive Peter has more than 40 years of experience in the real estate and mortgage finance industries. As Senior Account Executive for Primestone Housing Solutions, Peter is responsible for business development and client relations. Throughout his career, Peter has held a series of executive leadership roles in the mortgage banking, marketing, sales, and real estate industries. Prior to joining Primestone, Peter was Director of National Business Development at REI Loans/LendingOne. Earlier in his career, he was the Vice President of Single-Family Rental Investor Finance Sales at FirstKey Lending. Peter is a visionary who is an expert in relationship marketing, operations, and re-engineering workflows. His dedication to offering extreme value to his customers has created many successful long-term relationships.
